Providing education is beneficial only when it is quality education and accessible by all. After starting Jagriti Vidya Mandir (JVM) School wherein we provide education totally free of cost to about 240 underprivileged children and all their school expenses are covered under program EACh (Educate a Child) and “JVM Care” where donors pay for expenses of the child for the academic session. In order to maintain proper quality education, teachers quality has to be maintained as they are the pillars of the education system.
GYWS has many initiatives which include education and community development models but our prime focus is education. Despite continuous efforts by the Government of India, as per Rural Household Survey (RHS) conducted by the Department of Panchayats and Rural Development in the district of Paschim Medinipur, where JVM is located, still 43.19% of the population are under Below Poverty Line (BPL).
We believe that education is the true enabler of life and took a step to provide free and quality education to the first generation from their families. Therefore, to prevent any obstacle in the education of these children, We request you to cater the academic needs for one year
